Membership Benefits and How to Join
Benefits
Members of the Gerontological Society of America receive their choice of two of GSA's three print journals (Journals of Gerontology Series A: Biological Sciences and Medical Sciences; Journals of Gerontology Series B: Psychological Sciences and Social Sciences; and The Gerontologist) and online access to their selected journals with membership. Members may opt to add the third journal for an additional fee (see below). Members also receive Gerontology News, the Society's monthly newsletter, as well as other member benefits such as discounts on registraction for GSA's Annual Scientific Meeting.
Cost of Membership
GSA 2003 membership dues are $135 per year. Student memberships are available for $65 per year or $20 for undergraduates. To apply for membership, use our online application, which you may submit online or fill out, print, and fax or mail with your payment to: -

Within two business days of receiving and processing your membership application, GSA will email you a temporary account number for access to the online journals. Two to three weeks after that, you will receive a new member packet that includes a membership card. To activate your member subscription to the online editions of your chosen journals, you will be asked to provide the following information:
- Your member number (included on your membership card)
- Your name, phone number, and email address
- A user name and password that you can easily remember
Adding the Third Journal
If you are already a member and you would like to add the third journal to your membership, you may do so for an extra $20.00 per year. To add the third journal and pay by credit card, please call Charles Clary at GSA at (202) 842-1275. To pay by check, please send your payment made out to The Gerontological Society of America at the address above.
